ADDRESSING INTERNAL REVENUE ALLOTMENT ARREARS CLAIMED BY THE UNION OF LOCAL AUTHORITIES OF THE PHILIPPINES

I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by the power vested in me by law, do hereby order:

The Department of Justice (DOJ) shall review the P19.9 billion in Internal Revenue Allotment arrears claimed by the Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines (ULAP).

If legally sound, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) shall work out the funding for the claimed arrears.

The Cabinet Secretary shall organize a meeting of the ULAP and the Regional Development Councils (RDCs).

The DBM and DOJ shall make a presentation on the claims in the ULAP/RDC meeting.

Done, in the City of Manila, this 6 th day of October in the year of our Lord, Two Thousand and Seven.
